About a year ago, we were on vacation sitting next to a father and his son. We were on a bus tour looking at homes of the "rich & famous." We couldn't help but overhear the conversation taking place in the seat next to our. It went something like this: "Would you look at those houses, son... This is as close as we'll ever get. Can you even imagine?"

While listening, we were struck by the distinct difference in our thinking. The father spoke to his son as if their life would never give them that opportunity. Their fate was sealed, and all they could do was look.

On the other hand, we believed that if we wanted it and were willing to work hard for it, we could achieve it some day.
